The Airsoft Guide Series  Reply with quote

I was approached by Will of Oracle Films back in the last quarter of 2005 to do a sound track for a DVD project that he was putting out called Airsoft Guide.

Through my close association with Arnies Airsoft, I had already become relatively familiar with the sport that forms the subject matter of the feature, however, I was nonetheless a little nervous of comitting that amount of time to a project that seemed at face value to be an amateur production. Once I started the project, it became instantly clear that this was anything but the case, and the production values aimed for by Oracle Films seemed to be in tandem with my own values.

We are now into making Volume 3 of the project, and I have gradually become more and more involved with the production. Airsoft Guide Volume 2 was the benchmark project for the series as far as I was concerned, as Will was striving (partly spurred on by our late night discussions) to take the feature to a whole new level, and so, wanting to improve on the music to match their efforts, I was able to set aside quite a bit more time to write and record something special. Anyway, I tought as quite a few reviews are starting to crop up here and there about the series, and it's selling extremely well on an international level, that I would write a few choice words about the project....TBC
